We are a Worshipping & Welcoming Community discovering God and following the way of Jesus.  BCBC has been part of the local community for 140 years.  This Web Site will hopefully give an insight into what our fellowship is all about; what we believe, where we meet and what happens each week.  We also answer the basic questions of "What is a Christian?" and "What is a Baptist?"

OUR PURPOSES
Since life is preparation for eternity, we want to use our time on earth fulfilling God's five PURPOSES for us.  We were planned for God's pleasure, that's WORSHIP, so we will use our days to get to know and love God better.  We were formed for God's family, that's FELLOWSHIP, so we will use our days to show love to other believers.  We were created to become like Christ, that's DISCIPLESHIP, so we will use our days to make choices to grow our character.  We were shaped to serve God, that's MINISTRY, so we will use our days to serve God by serving others.  We were made for MISSION, that's evangelism, so we will use our days to share the Good News.
